This morning I took some photos using my iPhone and it was saved in the photo stream folder just like the usual thing. And of course, it synched into the iPhoto in my Macbook air. But this afternoon when I took some more photos, the pictures were saved in the camera roll folder. Worse, it doesn't synch anymore. I wonder what happened as I did not change any settings in my phone. Can someone please tell me how will they be saved again in the photo stream folder?

Hello Elice Mhfood,

For you to be able to save your photos in the photo stream folder, you will need to have the photo stream feature enabled on your iphone and to enable it you will need an icloud account. Hence this means that if you do not have an icloud account you will not be able to use the photo stream.

So you will need to visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign up for an account for free, or alternatively you can sign up on your iPhone by going to the settings and then choose iCloud from there. Another thing that you will be required to do is enable photo stream for the various devices that you may be using

In case you are using iOS5, you will need to access icloud and from there you will have to make sure that photo stream is switched on. But in case your device is a mac, you will just need to launch iphoto and then you navigate to the iphoto menu a from there you will need to select preferences. You will then click on the photo stream tab, and thereafter you will click enable photo stream checkbox.
