IPhone 5 Touch Screen Issue

I am struggling with my new iPhone 5. The touch screen is sensing my finger even if I am not touching the screen. It happens gradually after unboxing my new phone but it is getting worse now. The screen is always freezing and I cannot even swipe the screen to unlock. Is there a fix for this or some sort of calibration or settings to configure? Kindly please help me.

Thanks.

Good Day Craig,

You're not the only one suffering from this problem. Several users are reported to have similar issue. As of the moment, There's still no fix to this problem.

I suggest you try to observe this for a couple more days, because it might be due to the sensitivity of the iPhones 5 screen. Because to make iPhones 5 thinner than the iPhones 4s, Apple has integrated touch sensors to the LCD itself to eliminate the need for a separate touch screen.

But, if the problem would still persist then I suggest you bring it to the nearest Apple Service Center.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, after a little search on the internet I noticed that iphone 5 has many problems. I had The same problem with yours. Always freezing after charging or even touching it. I tried everything. The only solution was to replace it. I went to the Apple store updated the IOS7 and everything is working as it should. No thinking, just replace it.
