Dear Christopher B. Pyles, I have read your query.

Yes you are right; according to a report on Know Your Mobile launch date for the new iPhone 5 will be August the 7th. It will be a new designed device with a new casing design compared to iPhone 4s. It will be equipped with a Quad Core processor, probably a low power 32nm version processor, which will be designed by Apple and manufacturer will Samsung. S5L8950X CPU will be used probably. RAM will be 1 GB. It may have a smaller dock connector compared to iPhone 4s. It is also expected that new iPhone 5 will support 4G. It is rumored that Steve Jobs was working himself on a new and completely redesigned iPhone before his death, so it could be concluded that it was the same model, as 4s was same as 4 in design, there were a little difference. If it is going to be launched in August, then it can be figured out that it will come to other countries in September or October.

Hope it helped.
