I/O error when running Palm application

Hi!

I am receiving an "I/O error" message when I am trying to run the Palm application and after that, the application quits.

I use an old eMac and Operating System is X10.2.8.

Then I've rebooted it, as well as downloading and running the latest Palm application – but bad luck.

Can anyone help me by providing solutions?

Thanks in advance.

If you receive an input/output error when starting the Palm application, try restarting the machine then open it again. If this doesn’t work, verify that the application is already working before and you were even able to use it and this is the first that this happen on the program, it’s possible that some of its files got corrupted or maybe there is a problem in your hard drive that affects the loading of the program. Try reinstalling the program. Uninstall the application then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. After this install the program again. This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and will restore its settings back to default. Try it afterwards and see what happens.

If it still doesn’t work and still reports the same input/output error, you should check if all of your devices are attached and installed properly. Try disconnecting some of the installed hardware then connect it back.
