Hello,

I want to transfer some files from my laptop with Linux to my PC with Windows 7 using LAN. This error appears and says that cannot mount volume. I don’t know what it means and I can’t copy the files using USB because is a large volume data. Any advice ? How can I make LAN connection between this two ?

Thanks !

This error appears because Windows and Linux use fundamentally different filesystems. To fix this problem, follow these steps:

1. Download and install Freeware Linux Reader for Windows

2. Purchase a SATA to USB adapter cord.

3. Connect your external drive to your PC by using that cord.

4. When asked to format the disk, click "Cancel".

You will now be able to open and manipulate your files from the external drive.
