Mozilla Sea Monkey 2.10 is a full internet application concept by Netscape Communicator which uses the same platform as the Mozilla Firefox. You can think of it as the next Mozilla Firefox as it contains added useful features that include feed detection, smart location bar, junk mail filtering, multiple accounts, web feeds reading, address books with LDAP support, and many others. It shares these features with the Seamonkeys Mail and Newsgroups client. It has also an HTML editor and javascript debugger. Mozilla Sea Monkey can also be incorporated with some add-ons that enhance its functionality. Knowing these key features will help you navigate through this marvelous internet application.

The SeaMonkey project is a public effort to build up the SeaMonkey all-in-one internet program suite. It is actually the continuation of the previous Mozilla Application Suite build on the same source code. It was created in 2005 when the Mozilla Foundation has decided to concentrate on standalone projects like Thunderbird and Firefox. Unlike the Firefox, the SeaMonkey maintains the traditional-looking interface of the Mozilla Suite and Netscape.

The Mozilla SeaMonkey is composed of a web browser, and news client and email application, an HTML editor, and an Internet Relay Chat or IRC. The web browser is a successor of the Netscape family. The news client and email program or the SeaMonkey Mail & Newsgroups share the same source code with the Mozilla Thunderbird. The HTML editor is called the SeaMonkey Composer while it is ChatZilla for the IRC.

The Mozilla SeaMonkey is available for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. If you want to try Mozilla SeaMonkey, visit Mozilla SeaMonkey Download and Releases.
