I have not been able to get into Yahoo chat room due to the problem of Yahoo Messenger. When I try, the messenger gives the error “Internet Explorer script error message” and it crashes. Installing that, I installed and tried but failed. I am getting wonder as installing yahoo on internet explorer because it should work.

Although the version may not be a consequence, I am using Messenger version 7. As I found the IE error message with other versions, I went back to the version 7 because its functionality is best for me.

Using registry cleaners, defragging the hard drive, scanning for viruses, deleting cookies, and everything what I could think of, I tried to fix up the problem for several weeks, but happening the same as before.

Is there any possibility of Internet Explorer to fix the problem installing Yahoo! Again?

Error type: Internet Explorer

Hi,

First of all try upgrading your IE, when its IE 8 on XP then tries to follow method.

Start Internet Explorer.

Go to "Tools" and then "Internet Options".

Now go to "Advanced Tab" and scroll down to click on "Browsing Section".

Check boxes which are next to Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other).

Uncheck boxes next to Display a notification about every script error.

Now apply the settings and reboot your system.

Hope that helps!!
