I keep having this error message informing me that Data Execution Prevention has to close for the protection of my computer.

When I click OK I expect the error message to stop appearing, but it still persists, then stating that the “Internet Explorer needs to close,  sorry for the inconvenience.”

How do I fix the problem?

You will need to disable script debugging on your computer using the following procedure which can be used for all operating systems.

  • First of all you will need to start Internet Explorer.
  • And then you will go to the Tools menu, and from there you will click Internet Options.
  • Next locate the Advanced tab, that should be under the Browsing section, and then click to select the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) check box and also the Disable script debugging (Other) check box if it is there.
  • Once you have done that, you will click OK, and then restart your computer for the settings to take effect.
