Hello,

I have this error when I want to open Employee screen of Project and Job Costing in Sage 300 ERP. I don’t think that this error could be cause by the Add-On for Internet Explorer because I don’t remember to install any. Does anyone have a solution for this error ? What should I do ?

Thank you !

IE is a great browser with good security support. Due to its over-awesomeness, it is unable to allow the add-in to be installed on its system. You have to allow such operations to be accepted by changing its options.

1. Start Internet Explorer.

2. Go to Tools >> Internet Options>> “Security” tab >> Custom Level.

3. Under “ActiveX” section, enable the followings:
Run ActiveX and plug-ins
Download Signed ActiveX Control
Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting

4. Under “Prompt” section, prompt the followings:
Download unsigned ActiveX Control
Initialize and script ActiveX controls not mark as safe

5. Press Apply >> OK.

6. Restart Internet Explorer.

Your ActiveX should install perfectly.
