Hello, I’m currently using Firefox v. 3.6.
To improve the speed of my downloading I have tried downloading and installing Internet Download Manager.
The problem appears when I run the installation and I get an error message:
IDM CC extension
Cannot transfer file download to Internet Download Manager. Error 0x80004002
If someone already had the same trouble I would appreciate any suggestions.

Well this can be a problem due to your antivirus. Which antivirus are you using at the moment? Uninstall your antivirus and reinstall it again and check. If still the problem persists, I would suggest you to download Flashgot and check. Flashgot will solve your problem for sure. Good Luck!

Its look like you do not use the valid path to install you IDM program and that's the reason that you are getting some problem in your installation. Either it is a download error or some error in your program because this error never comes when you are downloading form a valid path. You need to also insure that what link you are using to install your IDM if you are using a internet path then you must be able to see that you have not installed a virus program and that is causing problem in this case. So run a full virus scan to your computer and make sure that you have no virus installed on your program that is making such a problem. After you go through these steps you will be able to download your routine installation tasks. Also make sure that you are using the perfect settings for you IDM settings.

Such problem can be solved by installing IDM in correct order. IDM CC is unable to locate the installation of IDM’s core and so unable to pass the file to the program.
