I keep on getting a warning message that says "Internet Download Manager has been registered with a fake serial number or serial number has been blocked. IDM is now exiting." I know that I have a license for all applications I have installed on this machine. I wonder what caused this problem and what can I do to resolve it.

Internet Download Manager (IDM) gives 30 days trial offer. After the trial period it will notify you that your trial period is over. You might be register IDM with a serial key. Somehow they came to know that the serial key is fake. So they blocked your serial key. That’s why you can’t access with IDM.
For this reason I personally use IDM silent version. In silent version you don’t need to update it. It will not get expired. You can download it from Computer Expert Zone | IDM 6.07 BUILD 3 SILENT INSTALLER FREE DOWNLOAD FULL. Before install silent version, uninstall the IDM that you already installed. After install the silent version, it will want permission to update. Don’t update. I think your problem will solve now.
