Internet connection failure using Nokia Ovi Suite.

I am using Nokia Ovi Suite to develop internet connection. I connect Nokia Mobile set with the Laptop using data cable. After installing Kaspersky antivirus software, I can not get the connecting tab within Ovi Suite and I do not receive the message from Kaspersky whether or not to trust the Ovi Suite program to run.

But when I disable this Antivirus, I can easily get connection tab in Ovi Suite and can develop internet connection as well. Can anybody help me to solve the situation?

  • I have read your problem about using the OVI application and getting such error message. I thinks that its a case of dysfunction between OVI application and the internet so you can either do one of the following for the resolution.
  • Keep your OVI device scanned and also enable its connectivity settings, update Ovi using internet software's available, check your internet settings on your pc suite try to refresh your settings or check whether or not it is behind a firewall or something that is causing a stoppage so refresh your settings and then try to connect.

Ok i have some solution for you.

1. Please uninstall the ovi suite also pc connectivity solution. Then reinstall it will fix your problem.

2. I am also use kis 2012 and ovi suite for internet browsing. You can solve it to go kis/kav settings —-> Application Control—> Application (under the Enable application Control)—-> High restricted or low restricted —-> Go to Nokia—->> Nokia ovi suite—–> Right click on mouse button move to group—>Trusted.

Done.

Now it will work 100%.
