Hi!

I am just curious to know if you could still code, should you not be connected, say for two to three hours a day to the internet. I am also interested to find out how much you rely on the Internet especially during research and when looking for reference materials.

Lastly, is it possible for you to lessen the dependency on the Internet should you be required?

Thank you.

Hello Lorne,

It really depends on the user. If the user is working in an office or as a call center agent, well it will be required to rely or use the internet from 8-10 hours a day. There are also home-based workers that are using the interent for more than 10 hours a day. It only means that most people now are depending or relying on the internet.

But if you are a student, it doesn't required that you have to use the internet for 8-10 hours a day. You should only required to use it for research and not by using social media website like twitter and facebook. But I think this is not going to happen now because almost all students are relying on the internet not just by doing research but also for games, chat, videos and a lot more. It would be better if the minors should accompanied by their guardiian in using the internet and should have limitations.

Many establishment needs Internet access to communicate with their counter-parts with-in the network inside and outside of there networking can reached.

They are so reliable of there Internet access to run there business and business needs. Most business run 24/7 service and in need of constant Internet connection. They may require to go offline for couple of hours but this only happens only if they encountered system failure and or scheduled maintenance.

However, an ordinary person such as students doesn't need to be online and get connected to the Internet. They can find reference materials on Library and book stores where all they need is available. The only difference is, they need to provide extra effort of looking for the reference materials they needs not unlike the Internet, where in a click away, it'll display in seconds of what you are looking for.

Nowadays, most of us are so dependent on the Internet. We are so dependent of this technology because we can get almost everything on this technology using our computer.
