Intel Corporation and Lava International Ltd. have announced the release of XOLO X900, the first smartphone equipped with Intel technology. It will be available for sale from April 23, suggested retail price of 22,000 Indian rupees.

The XOLO X900 is based on the smartphone reference design from Intel, which incorporates the Intel ® Atom ™ Z2460 with Intel ® Hyper Threading, which supports HSPA 3G connectivity.

Atom ™ processor High-performance 1.6 GHz alonng with the Hyper Threading technology, brings speed and multitasking performance within to the end users.

Graphic peak frequency 400 MHz, and the ability to encode and playback full-HD 1080p makes this phone the perfect equipment for entertainment, providing the user experience fun and immersive video. It also has an 8 megapixel camera, which gives advanced capabilities in terms of photography, such as burst mode, which captures 10 images in less than a second.

XOLO the X900 comes in a sleek design, with a touch screen LCD high-resolution 3.03 inches, for crisp text and lifelike images. At launch, the X900 will use * Gingerbread, with a scheduled update to the Android platform Ice Cream Sandwich * shortly after. Intel provides a user experience high-end, without compromising the battery life – which goes up to 5 hours of 3G browsing, 45 hours audio and 8 hours of talk.
