I knew that Intel's Thin Mini-ITX platform is going to include a monitor inside it. Is not it just like a laptop? If yes, why are they doing it? Is there any extra benefit? If yes, what?

Dear Vicky Dodson,

Intel first unveiled thin Mini-ITX at Computer 2011 a little over year ago. Thin Mini-ITX systems accommodate standard desktop processors, but Intel has designed a flat, laptop style.

I think they doing it for customer satisfaction. There are many extra benefit of this. Such as the Lian Li offers a stand-alone. Thin Mini-ITX enclosure, the PC Q05, that's only 47 mm tall about 1.85", or roughly the same height as a pizza box.

I think you get your answer.

Thank you.
