Yes that is true, Intel's Ivy Bridge processor will be feature in the new Apple Macbook Pro.Apple is the first manufacturer to use Intel Ivy Bridge Processor for their laptop. The new Mac Book Pro will include a new thinner and lighter 15 inch Mac Book Pro.just like the Mac Book Air.The optical drive will be removed in favor of the new SSD.Mac Book Pro will have solid state drives with storage up to 800 GB.

The new Ivy Bridge chips will also give Apple the opportunity to put OpenCL-capable CPUs into its hot-selling MacBook Air lineup.
