Intel C++ Compiler Professional Edition 11.1.051 refuses to install

Hi

At present we are upgrading our devices to Intel C++ Compiler Professional Edition 11.1.051. For the majority of the developers the set up was a breeze.

Two developers have a problem where they cannot install to the manual "C: Program Files/Intel" folder however. The installer shows that it is a worthless directory. This happens after the installer takes out every file into the download folder.

I should mention that, all antivirus programs are turned off. Normal File sharing is also off. The system has also been rebooted. All the other applications install normally to the Program Files folder and the installer has Admin rights.
I noticed one other incidence of this weird behavior on the Fortran forum with 11.1 but no solution was listed there.
We need a solution.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Error:

Invalid directory: C:Program Files.

Access is denied is only given when the user who is using the system cannot access the fie or the folder. The folder gives rights to the user who has permissions. I would like you to check the access permissions once more. Starting from the system drive, right to the folder Intel, you must try to find the security settings for the specified user. And see that there is a user Names every one. If this user does not have permission, then no one, not even you can access the directory. There the problem may also arise of you put a deny permission to write on the folders in the path.

Thanks.
