Dear Jamyjolts,

  • This error indicates that your installer has been corrupted. After research on the internet, I found that some peoples have same problem like you and got to fix it. You need to download ZIP archive instead of installer package. You can download ZIP archive package from http://jalbum.net/download/Jalbum8.12.2.zip. After this, unzip it into C:Program Files (x86) then double click on the jalbum.jar file in C:Program Files (x86)jalbum.
  • After this you will able to run Jalbum smoothly without getting that error.

Take Care.

Paul

  • This type of error is either a corrupt file downloaded or java runtime environment required / .Net 2.0 Framework is needed to install the application.
  • If you are downloading the program in direct download or in a full actual file size, it has a high potential in failing the download thus, you will be receiving a damaged file even if it reaches to 100% download completion. Look for available downloads in a compressed file containing the extensions like .zip , .rar. But mostly in the internet, the .zip is very common. Having the compressed file is small, faster and safe for its contents in download.
  • Make sure you have installed the latest java runtime environment or .Net frameworks if necessary to run on the said program. If you believe that the program you are about to install does not essentially need to run the runtime environments, you could just continue to update it for future use.
