It was my dream to use Windows Vista to my system. Yesterday, I tried to install vista to my PC but installation was failed due to following error.
I have no idea on it.
Please let me know how I can I overcome the problem and successfully install Vista.

You are experiencing file error or your windows 7 or Vista needs some updating first before you can install this software.
Solution 1: Just download the file once again and then reinstall it. It is because the file is broken that's why it is not installing properly and need the copy that has no errors in it.
Solution 2:Â It might be needing some more files that your operating system cannot produce. Update your whole system first, before installing the same program all over again. It might fix the problem because this might be your first time updating before installing anything in your system.

Hi marylin,
If you are installing from a CD, then it could be having problems. Either it has got scratches that could have been caused by exposing it dust, extreme cold or heat or touching the delicate surface to falling on the ground. Try getting another installation CD, see if it solves the problem.
Alternatively, important files that are crucial for setup may be missing from the CD, and this could have occurred when the CD was being written. It is always good when you buying a CD from a shop to let them test it for you to be sure that it is working.
