Guys, the installation of my Avira Free Antivirus came to an abrupt end because “The installation of the LSP failed. AntiVir MailGuard and AntiVir WebGuard therefore cannot be installed.
We recommend that you repair the LSP stack and then reinstall AntiVir MailGuard and AntiVir WebGuard via the user-defined installation.” according to an error dialog.
I don’t know what LSP stands for but isn’t that already a part of Avira’s installation file? If it isn’t, where can I get a copy?

Hi,
To get rid of the problem, you will have to do the following:
Log on your System a Administrator.
Click Start and Click Run.
Write 'netsh winsock reset' and click enter.
Save your data and reboot your machine.
After you restart your machine, visit Avira Free Antivirus you installed.
Try to run change section and Avira setup window for modifying your Avira application.
Now follow the screen instruction normally.
I think your problem has been solved.
