Hello Friends,

I am trying to install Project standard 2010 on a piece of news ultrabook with Windows 7 64 bits. Office 2007 is already installed and updated. The first time that I have tried to install it can they have failed due to other things working in the background while the computer froze and I had to begin again hard.

I tried to clean everything, but all the later (posterior) attempts to install project have managed across (through) almost all the way to finish with a message that found errors during the installation without much ado explanation. How can I obtain installed project?

Thanks.

Hello Halleleilani2,

Do you try to copy the setup files on your hard drive? Go to start menu, select run Browse the folder where are the files then select the setup file add switch/extract. Give a different name to the folder, once the files are extracted try to install the program copied installation file. Go to C:temp folder and look for the log file. The problem is with missing .msi files of security patches installed on the system.

You may need  to repair or re-install office 2007 first.
