Installation error occurred when downloading the trial version of MS Office 2010

I downloaded the new trial version of MS Office 2010 successfully and tried installing it on my Window XP Home machine, the installation went so perfectly but on the 4th step I run into this error message. I tried safe mode but still got the same error. Please help me solve the problem.

Dear Tony,

Here are some solutions to your problem. Just follow them and i hope your problem will be solved.

MS OFFICE 2010 can only be installed on windows XP having service pack 3.

Solution 1- Download and install Windows XP SP3.

Solution 2- If you can not install SP3 then simply install MSXML which is available in SP3 and it is required to install MS OFFICE 2010 on windows XP.
