Hello Ally,

There the problem triggered I am not able to uninstall the Acronis. The error message states that home components are not found. I even tried to uninstall through control panel but no luck. How do I uninstall? Please help.

Actually, if you are only using a normal PC you should not encounter any problem even if you are using the latest version of Microsoft Windows. For Acronis True Image 2014, it supports Windows Home Server 2011, Windows XP Professional [x64 Service Pack 2 or x86 Service Pack 3], Windows XP Home Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, and all editions of Windows 8.

The file systems supported by Acronis True Image 2014 are FAT 16, FAT 32, NTFS, as well as Raw Image. It supports various media containers like the usual hard drives, NAS or Network Attached Storage, FTP Server, CDs such as CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, BD-R, and drives like PATA or IDE drive, SATA drive, SCSI, SAS, IEEE1394 [Firewire], and drives using USB 1.1, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0.

I think you only need to reinstall the program. If it doesn’t work, you might be using an older version. Try installing Acronis True Image 2014 and see if this will fix the problem.
