Hello Steveen,

This problem seems to be because you are trying to downgrade somehow from NSS9 to NSS8. You should contact the Norman support center with your license key and ask them what version is it for. After they tell you, you will be able to download and install the right version without any problems. You can find their support site here: http://www.norman.com/en-ww/homepage

Hi Steveen,

This issue can be caused by a conflict of a previous version of the software, what you can do is to do a clean install. This means you need to make sure that you completely remove the program by doing it through the control panel. After removing the program navigate yourself to program files and remove or rename the folder of NSS and also do the same with program data folder. Then go ahead and install NSS 9.
