Installation error 12052 on Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

I tried to update Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Software to a beta version (3.3.49). It almost finished but instead gave out an error code 12052. What do you suggest I do? Is the newer beta version better? Appreciate your help very much.

  • Error code 12052 refers to as a lost connection error code this error occurs due to many problems.

    1. Phone disconnect during updating phase.
    2. Antivirus or firewall blocking this process.
    3. Your PC infected with malware.
    4. Port problem.

Solution:

  • If you lost connection during updating phase do following.

    1. Disconnect USB cable from your phone.
    2. Press phone power button up to 10 seconds.
    3. Reconnect USB cable.
    4. Wait for the installation to continue.
  • Disable antivirus or firewall which can also cause this problem.
  • Check for malware using malware scanner.
  • If you are using USB use it in another port.
  • Reinstall USB driver.
