Installation of ATI/AMD Proprietary FGLRX Graphics Driver Failed

Hi guys,

While installing ATI driverthrough the Additional Drivers on my DELL inspiron n 4030 laptop running withIntel® Core™ i3 CPU M 370 @ 2.40GHz × 4, 4 GB of RAM and512MB ATI Card — Mobility Radeon HD 5430 Series graphics card, I received an error message.

Have a look at the screenshot below. It has simply failed to install the driver. Have you any idea for the issue? Please help.

Hi Olivia,
It seems that you have already installed the drive or fglrx. Follow these steps to get rid of this issue:
1.  Remove the current version properly. You have to make sure that the previous version is fully removed.
2.  Restart
3.  Install the new driver
4.  Restart

Out of many reasons for this cause one is Lack of Installation of patches for your operating system windows.

Most of time we got this error because of the above mentioned reasons, so if we want to resolve this issue we may have to re-install our windows with latest updates and to fully configure it with other software.

Or on the other hand there may be any virus attack on your system files and may be that this virus has corrupted your registry files.

So please after re-installation of window please install any reliable antivirus and then install your desired ATI Driver.
