I have a Toshiba Thrive 10-inch tablet. I am trying to download Java in my Thrive but I can’t seem to do it. Can someone please provide a link on how I can successfully download Java through my Thrive? Thank you.

The tablet you are using has Android software on it originally. (I don't know if you've changed your mobile OS.) The answer for if you can download Java for Android is, No you can't. Android has an underlying program named Dalvik that processes code similarly to Java, but doesn't do the job. Unfortunately Java applications and Java based sites will not run on your device.Â

As said earlier, Android does not support java on its platform but instead Google developed an almost identical software that does almost all that java can do. Experts have even stripped the Google’s equivalent of java to find that the inner workings are almost identical.
Am thinking you android device should do fine on java-based websites. If not upgrade your OS.
