Hi. The steps to install HP Designjet 500 network card firmware using FTP network require you to turn the printer on as the first step. Next visit the HP support centre and in the search box, type the model number of your printer and select the go option. Next, a list of printers will appear on the screen from which you need to select your printer and then click on get drivers, software and firmware. Then, select the printer from the list and select the language which is known to you and then select the name of your OS. Click on download from firmware and then all the instructions which appear on the screen need to be followed in order to save the file on the computer. Wherever the file has been saved, that location needs to be opened and then the file should be clicked twice. The installation will get completed when you follow the instructions appearing on-screen.
