Install AVG antivirus – error code 0xE0010058

Hello Friends,

I tried to install AVG antivirus on my machine running with Windows XP service pack 3 and received an error. It is showing the error code 0xE0010058. I tried it several times but no result. Have you any idea for the issue?

Please help me to get a remedy of this issue.

There is a conflict between your AVG Antivirus and the previous installed antivirus in your unit that’s why the error occurred. Antivirus software should install their drivers deep into the operating system to be more effective. So this uninstalled antivirus can still affect other installed programs in your computer.

To resolve this, go to your Control Panel and uninstall all the tools and programs you think are relating to your previous antivirus software. Sweep all the shadows related to the previous one. So you can install your AVG Antivirus without any trouble.
