I tried to use the insert movie option of PowerPoint 2007 and received an error message. I tried to upload .avi files. However, I failed to upload the files. Is there any way to upload those files? Have you any idea?
Please help me to solve the problem.

This can be happened because if you run an older version of application. Now Microsoft says they fixed this issue on version 2010. Have you update your PowerPoint application yet? You have not mentioned which version is your application. If not update yet please update it first.
Still appears the same issue then you have to update your codecs. I guess you have already installed a codecs pack. Please update it to a latest version. If you haven’t installed codecs pack I recommend to use Klite codec pack. Download link is given below.

If not solved the problem, you have to change to Office 2007 or 2010. This problem is not occurred in 2007 package.
