I am trying to install a game in my laptop. Actually this would be my first time to install a game in my laptop, but when the installation is almost done the screen popped up an error message like this "Insert disk 2 to complete the installation" which I don't understand? I have the cd already but why did it prompted asking for another cd?
What would be the lacking of this installation?
What would be the next step to complete this one? Do i have to buy another installer for the disk 2? Anyone can help this out?

This message you are having when trying to install a game is perfectly normal. Most games nowadays have two disks included as its installer. Now depending on how you got the game, there are 2 very simple ways to solve your issue.

If this game you have is an original copy and you've bought it yourself, there should be two disks in there and all you have to do in this situation is to insert the other disk in the drive and wait for the installation to continue. If you only have one disk when you bought the game, you probably should ask about it on the store where you bought the game and perhaps there is a problem with the package they gave you and is missing the other disk.

Now if you downloaded this game and have it mounted in a virtual drive, all you need to do is to unmount the first image and mount the second image on the same virtual drive.
Games that give this message means that the game has two disks for its installer and you should have that second disk to complete the installation.

Dear Pauline,
You don't have to buy another installer for the disk 2. Because when you buy an installer it has 1, 2, 3 or more CD's depending on the size of the installer. To complete the installing you should insert the 2nd disk from your installer to continue the installing process. If there are only one CD in your installer and it ask two CDs, then you should go to the vendor where you bought this CD and ask for the 2nd CD because you only have one CD.
