Hello. I am seeking for help regarding the error that I am receiving in Firefox 8.0.
It says, “Something is trying to trick Firefox into accepting an insecure update.
Please contact your network provider and seek help."
The error seems unusual for me. What does this error means?
I have received some common Firefox error but this one doesn’t seem to be very familiar to me.
I need help so please send me some solutions for this.

Insecure Update: Error in Mozilla Firefox
Apparently it should be an auto-updated problem of Firefox. It should be update manually from Firefox version 8.0 by downloading the latest version from Mozilla.
However, all latest versions should starts checking all add-ons upon start and drives to the new update page each time starting Firefox. If you went to reduced your Firefox browser security problem and safely upgrade to use the options from within the Firefox Menus.
In Firefox version 8.0 there required is still the option to check for updates from

Firefox Button > Help > About Firefox (Check for Updates)
Insecure Update: Error in Mozilla Firefox

Please follow the steps to fix your problem

Start your Firefox

Go to help options

Click help and at second last you will see that an update option is thereÂ

Just click that option and your browser would check for the latest updates automatically and once you have downloaded the updates it will automatically install the updates.This will fix your problems.But in case this do not work then you can just uninstall the browser download it again and install the new version again.It is free of cost and can be downloaded  with in 2-3 minutes depending upon the internet connection you are having.
