Input metric formula creates error in micro strategy

Hello,

DBO only functions may not be used in a derived metric – this is the error that appears when I’m working at home. At the college everything is working just fine and I followed the same steps at home and it seems like it doesn’t want to work. Can anyone tell me please what I did wrong ?

Thanks !

Microstrategy Apply function (DB Functions) gives entrance to functions or syntactic constructs that are not typical in MicroStrategy.

 It is provided by a variety of Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) platforms like;

·         Concat,

·         Ltrim,

·         Case statements etc.,

It does not support to use Apply function (DB Functions) at the time of creating derived metrics when derived metrics are assessed in-memory. Then, their computation does not need any SQL to be carried out against the database.

Design Derived Metric is as a Standalone metric outside report.
