Hello, Nova Launcher has launched 1.2 version which is most popular these days. Nova Launcher looks almost exactly like the Galaxy Nexus stock launcher, but brings a host of options and settings to play around with.

There’s the ever-popular landscape mode, a scrolling dock to allow more than just 5 pinned applications, and the ability to resize all widgets – not just the ones with the feature baked into ICS. I’m a big fan of the ability to remove labels from icons. Since ICS goes without a menu option on its native interface, the settings menu is moved to the app drawer.

Changelog:

  • Color Themes, change the blue accent
  • Icon Themes for all apps (ADW and Go Icon Packs)
  • Widget overlapping w/ send-to-back/bring-to-front
  • Lock desktop w/ temp unlock
  • Faster widget loading
  • SGS3/TouchWiz workarounds and fixes
  • Fix FCs
  • Performance improvements
  • Updated translations

While all of the new features are nice to have, the first three really stand out: color themes, icon themes, and widget overlapping. When combined, these three things will bring the ultimate customization experience to your ICS device.

Nova Launcher is a highly customizable home screen replacement for Android. With it, you can customize almost everything on your Android phone. You can customize the grid on how the icons fit the screen. You can configure the rows and columns to fit all your widgets and apps. To configure the grid, go to “Settings”, “Desktop”, and then “Desktop Grid”.

You can have a scrollable dock which allows you to keep all your favorite apps on the dock up to 7 icons per page and up to 3 pages max. To configure the dock go to “Settings”, “Dock”, and then “Dock Pages and Dock Icons”. You can also apply effects when scrolling your desktop and drawer.

To apply scrolling effects, go to “Settings”, “Desktop (or Drawer)”, and then “Scroll Effect”. You can also change the style of your folder icons. You can select a background, a preview style, or even replace the entire icon. To modify the folder icons, go to “Settings”, “Desktop”, and then “Folders”. If you don’t have it yet, go to Nova Launcher on Google Play to download.

The latest version and Android requirement varies depending on device.
