Hi. Informatica was established in 1993, and it modernizes platform, synchronizes data, consolidates data, performs metadata management, data warehousing and some other functions. Informatica forum has been designed for the people working as a part of Informatica or those who want to join Informatica to put in their queries so that they can be addressed. The queries and their solutions are made public so that anybody having a similar problem as stated can be satisfied with the solution given.

In 2005, Evoke software was purchased by the company to get hold of Evoke Axio tool to cover a wider range of customers in US and Asia. If you are sure that you want to be a part of data profiling, then its job profile requires you first to understand the profiling tool named Data Explorer(renamed from Evoke Axio) which offers its services to the PowerCenter as a companion. It is a standalone product. It helps to perform data profiling functions including defining the structure, content and quality of the data, capability to map data from source to target so that it can be accessed from within the PowerCenter. Mapping Generation Option, which generates PowerCenter mappings from Visio designers or converts mapping into a Visio mapping template, is also supported by the PowerCenter. Hope we helped.
