Incorrect Command Line Parameters When Installing Yahoo Messenger

It is important on how you download the program. The link below will give you the latest as well as older versions of YM.

You might have a dirty browser (IE) or failed to uninstall and remove the old messenger software.

CLICK start > Computer > local disk (C) > Program files (x26) > Yahoo! > Messenger > UNWISE

By clicking unwise, it will start uninstalling the software old software in your computer. Then try to download the software you want. Then RESTART your computer. They say the latest software of YM are “full of bugs” because it has not been clean instantly.

Thus, I suggest if later versions had the same problem when you’re trying to download them, why don’t you try their old versions? It's good anyway and it’s “bug-free”.

If still, the same problem occurs, try using a different browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome because it suggests that your IE is corrupted.

I hope this would help.
