Greetings to everyone at TechyV!

I've tried the usual recommended fix for this error, that is to  create enough value for the IRPStackSize. Sadly, this didn't work on my Windows Vista run workstation. Does anybody have any alternatives as to what to do? Do I have to change the OS? I've heard this problems occurs across various Windows OS'. Thanks so much for any advice regarding this error.

Not enough storage is available to process this command.

Hi Mickey,

Before you consider reinstalling you Operating System, I will suggest that you run the 'disk cleanup' utility to clear all broken files and other files that may be taking up space on your computer.

Just click on start, and in the empty field type disk clean up. It will appear on the list of programs, then press enter on the keyboard. Choose to clean up your primary disk, check all the boxes including the caches, error queues because they are the ones that take up space on your disk. Press enter after you are done with selecting.

Wait for clean up to finish.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Lee Hung.

Hello there!

I am just wondering who is the manufacturer of your computer. Anyways, I would suggest for you to clear the Temp folders and check if it helps. Also go to Start and then Run. Type %temp% in the open dialog box and hit Enter. Press Ctrl+A. That will select all the contents and then press delete. Once you clear this, go to Start and then My Computer. Open your hard drive, then go to Temp folder.

Delete all the contents and again check if it helps. By the way, it is not advisable to set the IRPStackSize value to its maximum of 12. The problem may still occur if the value is too high. Also, errors like this may occur after installing or uninstalling virus-scanning software.
