I often visit a secured website but I never had a problem on opening and closing it. Or I never encountered any problem with downloading or uploading my files. But lately, I keep getting an error with JavaScript which causes my Internet Explorer to stop functioning correctly. I posted a screenshot of the error below.

I understand that this is a common problem which I thought can be easily resolve by just re-starting my browser, but when I restarted it, after few minutes or few hours, it will randomly stops and give me this error. How can I correct this? Help me Experts! Thanks.

Hello, you can try to disable script debugging or enable active scripting to tackle your problem.

  • To disable script debugging, follow these steps please.

    1. Open Internet Explorer. Click Tools menu >> Internet Options>> Advanced tab.
    2. Find and click the option of ‘Disable Script Debugging’.
    3. Click Ok and Save.
    4. Restart Internet Explorer.
  • To enable active scripting, active X controls, and java, follow these steps please.

    1. Open Internet Explorer. Click Tools menu>>Internet Options>> Security>>Default Level >>OK.
    2. Make sure that the Anti-Virus program is not scheduled to scan the folders of Temporary Internet Files or folders of Downloaded Program Files.
    3. Delete all Temporary Internet-related Files.
    4. Open Internet Explorer. Click Tools menu>>Internet Options >>General tab.
    5. Find Temporary Internet Files and click Settings>>Delete Files >>OK.
    6. Click Delete Cookies>>OK.
    7. Click tab History>>Clear History>> Yes>>OK.
    8. Lastly you have to install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX.

Hope the above could be helpful. Thank you very much.

Hi Richard,

While a small software can solve your all problems, why try anything else? Get the "Auslogics Boostspeed" software that will fix your entire problem. It will also make your computer faster than before. Install it. To activate the full version, you have to download 1 rar file. Follow these instructions:

1. After downloading this file, unzip it or copy all the data.

2. Paste it in the 'C' drive, where the "Auslogics Boostspeed" was installed.

3. After finishing all of this, run the program & click to scan.

4. Then, click repair.

The program will look like the picture given below:

I'm hoping that it will fix up your entire problem. To download the .rar file, go to this address:
