Hi,

I wondering why I get this message? When you upgrade the WebSphere Application Server version that is embedded in WebSphere Process Server, IBM Installation Manager reports synchronization errors.

How can I fix this?

Installation Manager detected an imported package that is not synchronized. Installation Manager cannot manage the package until it is synchronized.

OK  << Details

The Software Development Kit version is not the same as the IBM WebSphere Application Server – ND version.
Use another tool, such as the Update Installer for WebSphere Software, to synchronize the versions.

IBM Installation Manager reports synchronization errors.

Hello Shirlyn,

To resolve that issue, you will first of all need to confirm that you have active access to the internet, and then after that you will do the following:

  • When the error message appears, you will need to click Yes in order to synchronize the fix pack automatically.
  • Otherwise you fix the issue manually as follows:

    • You will need to add repositories to the IBM Installation Manager preferences as follows:
    • Click on File and then click Preferences.
    • After that go to Repositories and then follow the procedure highlighted here.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl
