I just happened to recently buy my new camera and a newbie in photography.

I was wondering about those small circles-like orbs appearing on some of my photographs. I am new to this and am seeking an expert advice.

Is there any way I could lessen if not to remove all of those orbs on my photographs?

I mean on the camera settings itself or any application software you may advise to remove those?

Hi Rachel,

One way to remove  the orbs  is to avoid taking pictures of reflective surface or objects and also taking the picture against the light. Also, setting your camera with high ISO levels, such as ISO400 and above in a low light condition will tend to generate orbs in the picture.So avoid setting your camera with high ISO when taking night shots.

Hello Rachel

These Orbs appears normally on the pictures for many factors such as "degree to which the weather is humid, the density of the dust in the air , etc.." . However, in order to reduce those orbs try to capture your photos without flash light – if possible – , Also try to use red-eye reduction feature that sometimes might help reducing those orbs .
