Back when I was using Friendster, I can see those people who have viewed my profile. Is there a similar application that I can use to track down my visitors in FB?

I'm here to answer your question definitively.
The absolute answer is NO. There is absolutely no way to know if one is viewing someone's profile. This is based on Facebook's policy regarding privacy. Even when there are third party applications who are claiming that they can let you track who is viewing your profile, there is no truth to it as no application can do this.
Likewise these applications might even be considered spam and are violating Facebook's privacy policy. For your protection ma'am, it is recommended that you don't approve applications making these claims, instead, report it to Facebook support.

That is the feature I wish Facebook would add but unfortunately they don’t have plans of adding it on the site I guess for the sake of privacy. There have been many apps claiming they can give users the ability to find out who visited their Facebook profile. Most of these apps are mere scams.
On the other hand, you can actually see or find out who visited your Facebook profile with the use of an extension called Profile Visitors for Facebook. You need to install this extension on Google Chrome and use it to find out who visited your Facebook profile. This extension is available for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Windows Internet Explorer.
It doesn’t have a version for the Opera browser unfortunately. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it only works if the person visiting your Facebook profile has this extension installed. If the visitors are not using this extension, you still won’t be able to track them. This is the great limitation of the extension.
When Profile Visitors for Facebook is installed, you will have an extra tab called “Visitors”. For other browsers like Windows Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, download the extension from Profile Visitors for Facebook Other Browsers.
