Hello!

I want to know how to recover videos from dvd that crashed. I was recording and at almost the end of the video, it got frozen and I couldn’t play it further. I need to save most of the video clips

Hello Dennis,

Hey man your DVD might have got scratches, as you might have used it many times. We will try to use that DVD in some newer DVD ROM. Because our DVD ROMs lenses get weaker they don't read the DVD and just we simply get Cyclic Redundancy Error. So I suggest you to make a copy of your DVD as soon as possible.

Regards Ian M Tyner.

Hello,

There are many reasons why some DVD crash while finalizing. Here are some:

1. The recorder is broken.

2. You used a low quality DVD disk.

With these problems, solutions can be easy or tough. But you can troubleshoot the problem before buying recovery software by trying to find another DVD with the same brand or model then try to finalize your video. If the problem persists, then try buying Mini Tool Power Data Recovery. It has a trial version where you can recover 1 GB data. Here is the link:

Unfortunately, you cannot. If you are burning the videos on a blank DVD disc and it got frozen during the process, automatically the videos will become corrupt and there’s no way to fix it. As a result, the entire DVD disc will now be useless and unusable.

If you are recording a video with a camcorder directly to a blank disc, try saving the video using a memory card or SD card instead. This will allow you to still recover the video or some parts of it in case the same thing happens again in the future.
