I want to create partition on my hard drive to use different operating systems in it. By following these instructions (“Go to disk managementàshrink disk àhow much disk I want to shrink?” I have chosen 20 gb) I get the error that parameters are incorrect. After that tried different shrink sizes and other software’s to create partition but failed.

Help me.

Hi,

You can do it fairly simple by downloading a free ware product known as EASE US PARTITION MANAGER.

Important thing to note:

You must know the size of your hard disk. You can do this by right clicking my computer and then selecting properties. In the general tab it will show you the size of your hard disk.

Download and install ease us.

Partition the drives as per requirement. You can split and merge different drives together. Do keep at-least half of your primary partition on hold as most of the system files for windows are indexed on it. Once your partitions are completed than you can practice resizing your primary partition.
