I updated the BIOS and now the C1100 server won’t post

The C1100 CS24-TY server will no longer POST after updating the BIOS. It will turn on and I can hear the fans spinning fast but BMC is not available and it does not post. The light on the front is amber. I've read about using the BIOS recovery mode, but it does not seem to work. Have you ever experienced something like this before? Is there anything else I can try to fix it?

Hello,

BIOS is a very sensitive part of any PC and shouldn’t be touched unless it’s too necessary and no other solution is working to fix certain problems. If something happens to BIOS, it becomes very much troublesome.

According to your information, your system isn’t booting up. Somehow, the BIOS memory got messed up, or BIOS has become corrupted. That’s why you’re unable to boot the machine.

All you can do is to contact with the manufacturer for fix. They’ve created the BIOS, they know how to fix this issue.

If thing goes too much bad, I think, your motherboard is dead and is only available for recycling purpose. You have to buy a brand-new motherboard.

Never touch BIOS and its core otherwise, such issue will appear again.
