Hi Experts,

Have a look at the error message below. I do not understand the error 1335.

I received the error message while installing RsNetWorx for DeviceNet 9.00.00 (CPR 9 SR 1).

It tried several ways to solve the issue but no result.

I also tried to install the same on another machine but still the error message exists.

Please help me to solve the problem.

Error 1335. The cabinet file ‘Data1.cab’ requires for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

Hi,

The reason for the error you are facing is a corrupt .cab file. The cabinet files are very essential for the software to run on your computer. Without these files you cannot run the application. As this file is corrupt, you are not able to run it on your computer. Try the steps below:

1. If you have a cd of the software, remove the cd and reinsert it. Now, run the auto play and install it on your computer. If the cd has any scratches on its surface then try to clean them and then try to install the software.

2. If you downloaded the setup from a third party website then delete the setup file and download a new setup file from a trusted source. Do not download software from third party sources.

3. Check the antivirus settings to see if it is blocking the application from being installed.
