Hi Experts,

I received an error message while connecting iTune with the iPhone. Have a look at the message below.

I took necessary measures to get it ok but no result.

If you have any idea for the issue, please help me to get a remedy.

Thanks in advance.

iTunes could not connect to the iPhone “iPhone” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes.

Hi

I will help you to overcome this problem with iTunes and iPhone. Your iPhone is locked with a password. Unlock your iPhone to be able to connect with iTunes on Mac to sync anything. It will not connect with iTunes until you unlock with your passcode. Generally this is security feature of iPhone.

If you have forgotten your passcode then you can reset the passcode by restoring the device. If you previously synced your iPhone, then try the following:

1.    Connect your device to your system and contain the backup files.

2.    Launch I Tunes.

3.    By right clicking the device, select Backup.

4.    Select “Restore” after Back up is completed, and then restore from your most recent backup.

When you connect to your computer, iTunes encourages you to enter the passcode. You need to put your phone into recovery mode and restore it as a new device to remove the passcode If you did not previously sync your iPhone with iTunes.
