I just installed Skype for a remote desktop on my network.  I'm having problems with audio on my remote desktop.  Is there a more recent Skype RDP driver update?  Both my desktop and remote desktop run on Windows Vista 64 bit.  Thanks.

If you want to update your Skype, just launch the program and log in with your account details. And then, go to the Help menu and click Check for Updates. You will be prompted with a dialog box if there is an update available. If there is no update available, you will be informed that you are using the latest version.

Or download the latest version from the link below:

If you need Windows Remote Assistance for Skype, download the skype beta version of the wra4skype that will let you send Remote Assistance using Skype:

Skype works with your sound card. If you have a problem with the audio, try checking your sound card. Start Windows Media Player or any media player you may have and play a video or music. See if you can notice a problem with the sound. If the sound seems to be fine, just try updating your sound card driver.

Visit your sound card manufacturer’s website and check for an updated driver for your sound card model. If there is an updated driver, download and install it to update your current sound card driver. After this, try Skype again and see if it works. If the application still has a problem with the audio, try updating it to the latest version if you haven’t updated yet.

Visit Skype for Windows then download and install the latest version. The latest version supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit. For voice calls, Skype recommends 100 kbps broadband connection.
