I need a staff management script

If you are looking for a time tracking software, I have a couple of suggestions. The first one is PHP Timeclock. It's a simple web-based time tracking system. As an administrator, it allows you to add and delete users, and create reports (or hide reports) that show productivity for all or individual users, in ranges of dates.

 

Alternatively, there's Kimai. An open source time tracker, which can be used as web service or installed locally on a machine.
