I just found my old 3.5" Verbatim floppy disks but I could not access the files anymore.  Can someone here suggest a floppy data recovery tool?  I'm still on Windows XP 64 bit.  Thanks.

Hi Rain Tait,

Floppy is something of a misnomer for these disks, as they are encased in a rigid envelope. I would suggest you some software to recover floppy dada. You can get all them from online.

EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition: Fast, Complete and Safe Data Recovery Freeware.Recover 1GB files for free, read-only and risk-free data recovery software,Recover formatted files back with original file name and path

BadCopy Pro – Floppy Disk Recovery Software: adCopy Pro is a leading data recovery software to recover corrupt or lost data from floppy disks. The software supports inaccessible floppy disk data retrieval, FAT, BOOT or ROOT area damaged situations, and rescues various corrupt files from a diskette.

Floppy disk data recovery | recover files floppy drive: Floppy disk not recognized by PC? Floppy drive has virus and won't be detected by PC or report damaged by PC? Floppy disk is RAW? Floppy disk is formatted by mistake? Don't worry, iCare Data Recovery helps you restore files from floppy disk.

Thanks for asking.

Hi Rain Tait,

With the time that passed by, your floppy disk might have degraded, but its still possible to recover those files stored in that media. With EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard you can recover lost files for free for up to 1GB. Its effective recovery can recover most data like documents, emails, photos, videos, audio files and more. Its easy to use as it has a user friendly interface. You can also preview data before recovery.

You can also use Recuva.

Hope it will help you recover your files.

Thanks
