Hi,

I’m having a problem with boot services Mac lion. Last week the computer was acting so weird because whenever I tried to restart the pc with Mac lion OS it just came up rebooting all the time. It doesn’t show any start up sign, it just boot over and over again. What can you suggest about this matter? I have to fix this as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Regards,

Laura Annita.

Hi Laura,

I believe I will help you in the solving of your query. What you need to solve or fix those errors is first know the cause of the error to be able to fix it.

The main cause of the error here is in the spotlight, once the spotlight gets corrupted, the computer reboots. So what you need to do here is have the Spotlight dump all its current features or properties and build up a fresh from new.

This will allow you to prevent the Spotlight from searching specific locations.

Navigate to System Preference > Spotlight. Click on Privacy tab.

This will allow you to prevent the Spotlight from searching specific locations.

Click on + at the bottom and select the Mac's hard drive. It will be in the list.

Close System preference and reboot your Mac.

Go back to System preferences > Spotlight. Click on Privacy and remove the mac hard drive.

You will simply do this by clicking '-' at the bottom of the list.

It should work.

Thanks.
